The Festool BG 80 Rustilon Brush is designed for the finishing stage of special wood surface treatment using the Festool BMS 180 brush machine. Built with a strong steel core and sisal bristles, this brush is used to smooth and clean wooden surfaces after the structuring and intermediate sanding stages. It helps refine the surface, remove loose fibres and create a cleaner, more polished wood texture while still preserving the natural character of the timber. Ideal for furniture makers, joiners, shopfitters, restorers and timber finishers, the BG 80 is a specialist Festool accessory for achieving beautifully prepared wood surfaces with a professional finish.

Festool Rustilon finishing brush for smoothing and cleaning wood

The BG 80 is used as the third work step in the Festool Rustilon surface preparation process. After the wood has been structured and intermediate sanded, the sisal bristles help smooth and clean the surface, leaving it better prepared for finishing, staining, oiling or further decorative treatment.
