Festool GM 145 Die Set / Guide Frame for CM 150

At a Glance: Guide frame for the Festool CM 150 chain mortiser, designed for accurate mortising with depth stop, side stop and pneumatic spring-assisted plunge control.

The Festool GM 145 die set, also known as the GM 145 guide frame, is a specialist accessory for the Festool CM 150 chain mortiser. It is designed to guide the chain mortiser securely during heavy-duty timber mortising work, helping the user create accurate, repeatable mortices and grooves in beams, structural timber and carpentry components. With precise depth and distance setting, machined steel vertical guide rods, a side stop and pneumatic spring-assisted plunge and retraction, the GM 145 gives the CM 150 a more controlled and repeatable mortising setup for professional timber construction and joinery work.

Controlled mortising for heavy timber work

The GM 145 is built for users who need clean, repeatable mortices rather than rough freehand chain mortising. It supports accurate plunge movement, safer retraction and repeat settings when creating several identical mortices or grooves.
