Festool MB 40 Mobile Drilling Attachment

At a Glance: Compact FastFix mobile drilling attachment for accurate 90 drilling, depth-controlled holes and 32mm system hole rows

The Festool MB 40 Mobile Drilling Attachment is a clever precision drilling aid that brings drill press accuracy directly to the workpiece. Designed for compatible Festool cordless drills with FastFix, the MB 40 helps you drill straight, repeatable 90 holes wherever the job happens, whether in the workshop, on site, in cabinetry, installation work or furniture manufacturing. It is ideal for vertical drilling, depth-limited holes, shelf support holes, hinge drilling, short hole rows in the 32mm system and general drilling in wood, metal and plastic. With an exact depth stop setting up to 50mm, integrated markings for easy alignment, a rubberised non-slip base and dust extraction connection for a clearer drilling point, the MB 40 turns compatible Festool drills into a highly controlled mobile drilling solution. It is compact, accurate, practical and very Festool: neat, system-based and made to solve real jobsite problems.

Standout features of the Festool MB 40 mobile drilling system

The Festool MB 40 is designed for precision when freehand drilling is simply not accurate enough. It helps produce clean, straight and repeatable holes with better control, especially when drilling fittings, shelf supports, hinge holes and short rows in the System 32 format. The FastFix connection makes fitting quick and tool-free, while the optional accessories expand the system further for guide rail work, parallel drilling and edge drilling applications.
