Produce clean, consistent 45 chamfers on plastic and solid wood edges with the Festool S8 HW 45 D27 12×12 KL Chamfer Cutter. Designed for compatible Festool routers and edge routers, this professional cutter combines a 27mm cutting diameter with a durable 12 x 12mm reversible carbide blade. The square insert provides four usable cutting edges and can simply be rotated when one edge becomes blunt, restoring sharp cutting performance without replacing or sharpening the complete cutter. A sturdy steel ball bearing guides the cutter accurately along the workpiece edge during freehand profiling. The optimised bearing mount is suitable for the supplied 12.7mm guide bearing or for use without a bearing in appropriately guided routing applications.

Four sharp cutting edges from one replaceable carbide insert

The reversible blade can be rotated through four positions as each cutting edge wears. This provides dependable professional cutting quality while reducing downtime and avoiding the need to sharpen a permanently brazed cutting edge.
